Greetings GP Lions & Families!
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We hope you had a restful and rejuvenating summer and are ready to embark on another exciting academic journey filled with new challenges, growth, and meaningful learning experiences.
To our returning Lions, welcome back! Your commitment to learning continues to inspire us, and we are eager to support you as you reach new heights this year. To our new Lions and their families, we extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome—we’re thrilled to have you join the Graham Park community!
Safety remains our top priority. As a reminder, all middle and high schools utilize screening systems at entry each day. To help ensure a smooth and timely arrival to class, please avoid purchasing or bringing items such as three-ring binders, metal eyeglass cases, umbrellas, metal water bottles, or other metal objects that may delay the screening process.
We are also excited to share that Graham Park Middle School has officially begun a multi-phase renovation project that will take place over the next three years. These improvements will enhance our learning environment, modernize our facilities, and better support the needs of our students and staff. We appreciate your patience and support as we work through this exciting transformation.
As we begin this school year, we are focused on schoolwide goals designed to enhance the overall learning experience. From rigorous academic programs to enriching extracurricular opportunities, we are committed to nurturing the perse talents and interests of every student.
In addition to academic excellence, we place a strong emphasis on character development—fostering values such as integrity, respect, and empathy. By cultivating a culture of kindness and mutual respect, we aim to create an inclusive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
We also recognize that parental involvement is a key factor in student success. We encourage all families to stay engaged and connected throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you at our Family Engagement Nights, which will feature a variety of fun and meaningful activities to strengthen our home-school partnership.
✨ We also invite you to join our School Advisory Council! This important group helps guide school decisions, supports student achievement, and strengthens the connection between families and staff. Your voice matters, and we would love to have your input as we work together to make Graham Park the best it can be. If you're interested in joining or learning more, please contact our front office.
In closing, we are excited for a year filled with growth, discovery, and unforgettable moments. Let’s embrace the challenges ahead and celebrate every success—big and small. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Let’s make the 2025–2026 school year a transformative one—and Win with Excellence!
Yours in education,
Dr. Walker Principal
