The allergy season is predicted to be longer and more intense this year.  Many students are suffering with the respiratory symptoms associated with seasonal allergies.  Here is some helpful information for parents trying to deal with sneezing, congestion, and itchy eyes.
Vision and Hearing Screening
All 7th Graders and students new to PWCS are required to be screened for vision and hearing issues.  These screenings take place in the Fall of each school year.  Parents/ Guardians are notified in writing of deficiencies.
Required for Entry into Middle School
All rising 6th graders  must have a TDAP booster for Middle School entrance! Parents should consult with their physician or the PWC Health Department as their student turns eleven and have this booster as soon as possible.  PROOF of immunization must be forwarded to the school.  Students without proof of this  vaccine cannot attend middle school and will be excluded from school until documentation is received.
