Cooking: Ms. Wrighten

Cooking is a skill of the heart. As you create dishes you began to feel a sense of warmth and satisfaction. When you put together ingredients and follow recipes with love, you will see just how happy your creations make other people as they take their first bite. The more you learn in the kitchen the more your heart will delight in the craftsmanship of the culinary arts. Come cook with Mrs. T and learn how to makes dishes worth talking about.

Art:  Ms. Williams

HEY YOU!!! Do you like anime? Do you like to draw? Do you like art in general? Then Art Club is the club for YOU!

In Art Club this year, we will be drawing all kinds of things! We will be drawing on a wide spectrum from anime to realism, to anything else your heart desires. We will have a lot of free draw opportunities, as well as using all different kinds of mediums! This could include using charcoal, paint, graphite, digital, and all other kinds of mediums. I really hope that you take a chance and allow for your creativity to flow and flourish this year in Art Club!

Drama: Ms. Sutton/Ms. Williams

Drama Club is open to all GPMS students! We will meet weekly on Thursdays. Students will have the opportunity to perform and to be involved in all aspects of the production of recorded performances, including acting, singing, makeup, lighting, costume, sound, writing, and editing.

Lion Ambassadors: Ms. Smith

ALL students are invited to become a Lion Ambassador this year! Our mission is to set the vibe at Graham Park by creating chain reactions of kindness. As a club, we'll do random acts of kindness, community service projects, welcome new GPMS students, school-wide collaboration, and more! You never know how far a little kindness will go. Be a part of making our world a better place! Join the Lion Ambassadors!

Ladies Of Distinction:  Ms. Stepter

L.O.D. is gearing up to help our GP young ladies become all they can be academically and socially. Our 5 Areas of Focus are: 1. Education, 2. STEM and/or STEAM, 3. Leadership, 4. Economic Empowerment, and 5. Health & Wellness. This will include inviting positive role models as guests and activities such as skill building, conflict resolution, etiquette, dressing for success, tutoring and when field trips are allowable again, we will venture out for enrichment and to showcase our skills learned in our program.

Math Club:  Mr. Woodall

Math Club provides an opportunity for students to challenge themselves in the area of mathematics. Students will experience fun and challenging math problems that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Math is everywhere!

No Place For Hate: Mr. Williams

In the No Place for Hate club, students work to build and create an inclusive and safe school community where all students will thrive. We seek to empower ourselves, fellow students, and the larger community to take a stand against hate and bullying. The group fosters discussion about diversity and promotes cultural awareness. We want to send a clear and unified message at GPMS that all students belong.

 N.J.H.S.: Ms. Fitzgerald

Membership in the NJHS requires a 3.5 grade point average and good conduct from the beginning of 6th grade.  Members help with some school service and several community service projects throughout the year.  Members must do 30 hours of service a year.  Members must be recommended and selected to join.

SCA: Ms. Miller

SCA is the School Council Association for Graham Park Middle School. A student council is a group of student leaders who work with an adult advisor to collaborate with others to impact our school community, which impacts their city or town, which impacts our state, which impacts our country, which changes the world. SCA volunteers are the voices of the students, allowing students’ ideas to be heard and shared with teachers, administration and school staff.

STEM: Ms. Wilson

This will be an after-school time for students to work together building and creating, while simultaneously using their math and science skills in a fun, stress-free setting. In our first few meetings, we will have a "Pasta Soap Box Derby" where students will use their engineering and science skills to build a car from pasta to roll the farthest down a ramp. We will design and build a structure in "Leaning Tower of Pasta" to hold up various amounts of weight with only marshmallows and spaghetti. Come join us the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Gaming Club – Ms. Steck/Mr. Comings

Do you love to play board games? Then this is the club for you! We will have a variety of board and card games to play. If you want to bring in your own ( school appropriate) game for play, the more the merrier! The focus is board and card games, however possible online games may be an option. Join the club for some good old-fashioned competition and fun! Club Sponsors: Ms. Steck and Mr. Comings
