Welcome to Mrs.  Dunn's Science 6 Class.

        I am a graduate of Radford University with post graduate work from George Mason. This school year will be my 27th year in public education. I have taught middle school in Stafford County, San Antonio Texas and this will be my 9th year teaching at Graham Park.  Most of my teaching career has been teaching students with specific learning disabilities.  This is my 2nd year teaching 6th  grade science.    I believe my special education background has made me a better teacher and given me the tools to reach all my students in the general education classroom.
I have been married for 21 years.  My husband and I have  a 10 year old daughter, Sarah, and 2 cats:  Jenny and Gizmo.  I enjoy spending time with friends and family, swimming,  doing arts and crafts, decorating cakes and stargazing.  I am a sports fan to the Washington Capitals and Washington Nationals.  I love all animals but my favorite are tigers.  My favorite color is brown and my favorite food is Mexican cuisine.
